Review: Kodak ESP 9 All-In-One Printer
As a blogger and an Internet Marketer, I am constantly reading new information to keep up with many of the latest ideas and products on the market. I actually own several printers, from the HP OfficeJet G55 (pretty old model), a Canon Pixima iP6000D photo printer and a couple others. I purchased the Canon a couple of years ago, since I also enjoy photography and wanted a printer that could handle the job of producing a professional quality photo, worthy of framing. Read More…
How to Make Your Own Stylus Pen
There are a few stylus pens out there that are made for use on any of the apple touch devices. Some work okay, others, not so good.
iPad Capacitive Stylus Pen
But the need for a decent stylus is crucial for those artists who use their devices to do artistic drawings or even technical detail sketches, like creating plan layouts for housing and for those women you have really long fingernails.
One stylus that seems to be popular is the Pogo Stylus. Although it appears to do a satisfactory job, there are complaints that it is cheaply designed and the pocket clip breaks off early on. Other stylus pens have received the thumbs down because you need to press down too hard for them to work, and if your primary reason for using the pen is to do drawings, it makes it really hard to keep pressure on the pen and draw at the same time. But did you know that you can actually make your own stylus pen at home with the right materials? All it takes is a cheap pen, even plastic will do, some wire (almost everyone has this) a small piece of conductive foam (used with many electronic parts) and a little tape, and you have your own stylus pen! How to Jailbreak Apple’s iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch

While scanning the web a few days ago for information on the Apple iPad, I did a Google search looking for product information on iPad Apps. About the fourth entry down, a search result caught my eye. On the CNN website, there was an article about Jailbreaking your iPad.
Out of curiosity and not knowing anything about this term, I clicked the link and came to a very interesting article with full instructions, screen shots, tips and plenty of other helpful information for this Jailbreak process. This article was a real eye opener and I used CNN’s “Email to a Friend” button to send it to myself for future reference and to tell others who own iPhones, iPads or the iPod Touch devices what this is all about.
Netflix App for iPad
Do you own one of the amazing Apple iPad’s? If you are lucky enough to have one of these incredible pieces of hand held technology, then you’ve probably spent a good deal of time in Apple’s App Store, finding and downloading all of the incredible FREE applications that are available and surprisingly, there are a good many to choose from! But at the end of a busy day of working with your new tablet and all of the cool things those free and relatively cheap apps let you do, it’s time to sit down and relax in your easy chair. Then as you kick your feet up and start scanning through the channels, you find there is nothing that really sparks your interests.
Wood Burning Stoves & Pellet Stoves
The Best Investment I Ever Made for My Home!
Purchasing a wood burning insert for our fireplace was something my husband and I had discussed in length, after all, they were a bit pricey for us to afford at the time, but we purchased an old house and it was cold and drafty. Our home had no insulation in the walls, all the doors had good sized gaps in them and the windows being the old casement type windows also let in much of the cold weather. In the living room, we have three very old and brittle windows that go floor to ceiling, are set side by side, and take up the entire length of one wall, at 6′ wide by 12′ high each.

- Wood Burning Stove

There was a nice little fireplace in the living room, and a built in wood storage box right next to it, which could easily hold about a cord of wood! Now I love a nice fire on cold days, but I also like the heat in which that fire should provide. But if you stood right in front of our fireplace, you could feel a little bit of heat, but most of it seemed to be going straight up the chimney!
Mobile Boarding Pass

Over the past couple of years, airlines have been introducing a new way for travelers to receive their flight information and boarding passes. The Mobile Boarding Pass became a reality in 2007 and is slowly growing in popularity. Airline travelers can now have their boarding passes sent directly to their mobile phone bypassing the need to print out a paper boarding pass. Read More…
Tesla Roadster – Electric Car
Anyone seen an electric sports car around here?
Electric cars may not be all that popular still, but they could play an important part in our future. Ever rising gas prices and talk about America’s new, government run health care system, being partially funded through more gas taxes, promising that gas prices will double within the next four years are reason enough to take a look at alternate fuel options, like the electric car.
There have been a number of electric cars developed over the past few years but the concept never really caught on. Designed to look like kids toys or something out of the future, many of the models did not appeal to consumers Read More…
